W3 Philanthropic Ventures (W3PV), Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit corporation located in Bowie, Maryland. For years, many in our community have been waiting for additional opportunities to make an intentional social impact in causes near and dear to them, both local and abroad; while desiring to better understand the dynamics of philanthropy and what it means. W3PV presents its organization as a unique opportunity for this burgeoning group to do just that. “We are a truly viable option in the philanthropic landscape”, stated Weyden Wedderburn, Founder and CEO. W3PV is a locally based philanthropic operation with visions of making impacts locally and globally. W3PV is positioning its organization to assist those in our community that have always wanted to make a difference in the life of a student or assist communities economically challenged globally.

“Our community is one of the most generous communities when it comes to giving; we need look no further than our religious institutions,” stated Mr. Wedderburn. Our purpose is to educate the public by helping them to understand the best practices of philanthropic participation while being a conduit that addresses some of the gaps in education and various social causes.”

Locally, through its education initiatives, the Troy E. Quinn Scholarship Fund assist deserving students at Morgan State University to achieve their dream of a college education while greatly improving their chances of success. Globally, W3PV is currently operating in six countries: Bahamas, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Through our social cause initiatives, we provide support to these countries by providing resources to constituents of these communities that are socio-economically challenged. These resources include access to healthcare, health education, school supplies, and food.

In addition to our philanthropic ventures, our team also provides a plethora of services to other nonprofit organizations in the following areas:
